The universal water level sensor is contactless, meaning it just gets sticked to the outside of the water bottle with glue. There is no need to drill a hole into the water bottle. The water level sensor will warn you via a flashing LED light and a buzzer will start to make noise.  When a vehicle loses all of its water most drivers do not notice it because the water temperature sensor will not indicate it as there is no water in the system anymore for the temperature sensor to pick up that the engine is running hot. This specific water level sensor will warn you on time to protect your engine from overheating and save you a lot of money on repairs.
